Option “I”
in accordance with art. 9 of the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (Ex ia/ib IIC) which are related to insulation, clearance, creepage distances and enclosure type whereby a max. peak voltage of 90 V or 3,3A is allowed.
Please note the following:
When a switch is ordered with cable gland (option “C”) BETA will automatically install the Ex blue colored cable gland. Due to low current used in intrinsically safe systems we advise utilizing switching elements equipped with gold contacts, designated by the codes (code “G1,” “O1” or “Y1”).
